Job Summary Provides clinical oversight and supervision to staff that provide individuals, families, and groups with the support needed to cope with mental health , behavioral health and/or substance abuse illnesses. General Accountabilities Provides psychotherapy to clients. Conducts clinical assessments to clients. Provides on-site and direct professional clinical supervision for all unlicensed and licensed staff providing direct service to clients. Supervises staff that refers patients to community resources to assist in recovery. Supervises staff that monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan. Oversees the modification of client treatment plans to comply with any changes in status. Collaborates with medical professionals to evaluate patients' medical or physical conditions and to assess client needs. Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences and administrative meetings. Attends training sessions to increase knowledge and skills. Attends necessary trainings and conferences to maintain licensure. Provides on-call crisis support for unlicensed staff. Serve as a resource person for other professionals. Attend and participate in individual care conferences, treatment planning activities and discharge planning. Function as the client advocate in all treatment decisions affecting the client. Prepare and write notes or other documents related to recovery. BC reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications Education: Required: LMHP with a Master's degree ( LCSW or LPC) Experience: Required: Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of Louisiana. With at least 5 years of qualifying clinical experience as a LMHP. Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Problem solving Active listening Social perceptiveness Critical thinking Coordination Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and MS Outlook
