Clinical Analytics Systems Architect (212664)Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation seeks Clinical Analytics Systems Architect to perform data analysis and data reporting functions, etc. for the Department of Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control. Responsibilities: Perform data analysis and data reporting functions for the Department of Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control (“Department”) in order to help the Department attain cost effective, measureable improvements in areas such as infection prevention and quality of care. Apply knowledge of data warehousing principles, concepts, and architecture to develop, test, and maintain systems for abstracting and managing clinical and operational data. Perform data acquisition and data extraction from clinical, operational, and enterprise systems. Utilize Access, SAS, STATA, SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and other data management and statistical software programs to analyze large and complex clinical and operational data sets. Use extract, transform, load (ETL) tools and methodologies to design and develop ETL solutions for data migration and data integration. Utilize Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and HL7 interfacing to distill and articulate technical and organizational approach to the Department’s clinical data needs. Develop advanced operations planning and clinical reports using enterprise-level reporting tools such as Tableau, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Qlikview, and Crystal Reports. As part of the reporting process, conduct comparative analyses of the Department’s key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze trends and outliers in these KPIs and offer evidence-based solutions for improving the Department’s quality of care in infection control. Create and maintain relational databases to manage sensitive clinical and administrative data regarding patients, providers, etc. Maintain databases and applications using Data Transformation Services (DTS), SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Use SQL Server to develop and maintain dashboards to track metrics on Department objectives, such as reducing the number of infections and increasing the number of infection prevention interventions at Johns Hopkins facilities. Develop and report infection control data to appropriate authorities, including the Center for Disease Control’s National Healthcare Safety Network, using risk adjustment models and metrics, as well as CDC’s reporting application. Supervise one Business Intelligence Developer/Data Analyst. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a field related to the clinical or technical components of the position (e.g. Health Administration, Public Health, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Information Management, Biomedical Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field) and five (5) years of project management experience, which must include the following: Five (5) years of experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) methodologies and development; Two (2) years of experience with analyzing and generating insights using Business Intelligence tools (such as SQL Server Reporting Services, Tableau, Qlikview, or Crystal Reports); and One (1) year of experience using Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) risk adjustments models, metrics, and application for reporting infection control data. recblid 8f3gltw6qxybb8ntl1xgs2xd804cln
