ABOUT NORTHWEST MEDICAL HOMES Our mission is to deliver comprehensive health care to families and individuals in Springfield, Eugene, and the surrounding area. We are committed to providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality treatment in a timely, caring, and compassionate manner. Because being healthy is about more than just physical health, our group integrates behavioral health and clinical pharmacist providers to help with patient care. Our patient population is full-spectrum Family Medicine (infants to elderly) and we have in-house laboratory and X-ray. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MANAGER WITH NORTHWEST MEDICAL HOMES You will work as part of an administration team that sets and attains the goals for the organization alongside our owner providers. As a clinic manager, you are expected to be the go-to resource for your providers and staff. You oversee all operations in your clinic, which may have up to 8 Family Medicine Providers, 1-2 Behavioral Health providers, and 1-2 Clinical Pharmacists. There are about 3-4 ancillary staff (medical assistants, pod clerks, front desk staff, quality team) per provider that you will either be directly managing or assisting other department managers with managing. Most of your direct personnel management (and schedule management) will be with the back office (medical assistants and providers). You will have hiring and firing responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS Microsoft Office proficiency BLS required (can get within 90 days of employment) CMA or equivalent clinical background preferred 3+ years medical experience required 1+ years manager experience preferred Requirements and Skills: Available Monday-Friday, 40+ hours, and available after hours Responds in timely mannerto emails and text messages Have excellent communication skills, be comfortable having difficult discussions, conflict resolution Ability to multi-task Work independently Self-starter Hold yourself and staff accountableto excellence Organized Team player Problem solver Reliable Ambitious WORK SCHEDULE Our clinic is dedicated to the care of our patients, for this reason we offer extended hours and weekend availability for acute care visits. The clinic manager is expected to be available 24/7 by text/phone/email, with an onsite presence 5 days/week, typically 8-4 or 9-5. We realize that we ask a lot of our management team, and therefore offer flexibility in day-to-day schedules. READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
