Client Services QA/Test Analyst Summary: Evolver is seeking a Client Services QA/Test Analyst. The Client Service department has primary responsibility for effectively serving clients across a range of market segments and stakeholder groups. The team is undergoing digital transformation of the Firm's Client Reporting activities. A successful candidate will be a member of the team which is responsible for the production of a diverse range of reports and fact sheets for our institutional and separate account client base, covering the full range of the firm's investment capabilities, in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards. The QA/Test Analyst will assume the responsibility of testing newly generated reports in anticipation of their launch. This position demands a hands-on approach, with the Analyst tasked with the testing, comparison, and reconciliation of reports, along with the task of ensuring the accuracy of the underlying code; their primary focus will be on executing quality assurance and testing functions by leveraging both manual and automated methodologies Responsibilities: Design and implement comprehensive test plans that cover various testing phases, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Collaborate with the team to test, compare, and reconcile a variety of reports in preparation for their release. Execute hands-on quality assurance and testing functions, ensuring the reliability of the reports. Evaluate and test newly developed client reports and suggest necessary revisions for existing ones. Determine the relevant parameters for testing and validation of reports, encompassing aspects such as overall functionality, result validity, accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business requirements. Perform comprehensive testing to ensure that client reports operate in accordance with user requirements and adhere to established guidelines. Identify, logs, and recreate error codes, bugs, and defects. In cases where reports fail to meet specifications, promptly identify defects to programmers and provide recommendations for solutions, improvements, and updates. Maintain thorough documentation to establish traceability between test cases and business requirements. Basic Qualifications 6 years of experience as QA 3 years in automation, reports testing and overall domain experience, with a focus on automated testing using Selenium Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent of 4 years work experience Preferred Qualifications 10 years of experience as a QA 5 years in automation, reports testing and overall domain experience Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices Well-versed in various testing types, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing etc. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages for test automation Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines Experience in the finance sector, particularly within the Investments domain Proficient in the creation of test plans, test cases based on specifications and Reports testing from data sourcing to consumption; understand and assist in data analysis related to testing Strong commitment to collaboration, actively engage as a team player, and readily aid colleagues Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Evolver Federal is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all job seekers.
