Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Design unparalleled client facing event and hospitality activities that promote the Truist purpose and deliver on the strategic vision of our internal business / functional partners.This position will manage end-to-end sourcing, planning and execution of complex high-level client facing events for the Wealth line of business (LOB). The position will work to build annual plans for Wealth while bringing creative ideas and solutions for high-level events that align with the business' marketing strategy, event strategy, and identify cost savings. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Serve as a strategic partner to our LOBs and Functions on using events to achieve goals and objectives.2. Conceive and design experiences that will align with marketing strategies to memorably engage our event attendees and differentiate Truist from our competitors.3. Ensure meetings and events at Truist are collaborative and exceeding attendee experience expectations.4. Serve as a steward of the Truist brand and ensure all experience elements are in compliance with brand and LOB standards.5. Stay connected with industry trends and best practices to ensure we are providing best-in-class experiences for our clients, prospects, and teammates.6. Document and report post-engagement results summary for review, schedule/facilitate lessons learned discussions with marketing and business partners and provide reporting on business impact of events.7. Manage all aspects of the brand and client experience for certain meetings and events (virtual, sponsorship and sports marketing).8. Other duties, as assigned.9. Apply in-depth knowledge of event marketing best practices derived from experience. QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training2. Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience3. Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline; sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes managing a process4. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services5. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure, in addition to leading a team of professionals6. Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities7. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems8. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective9. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master's degree or MBA and six years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 2. Banking or financial services experience3. Experience with hospitality management of large-scale sports and entertainment events.4. Proficient in Microsoft Office5. Consumer/Commercial/Corporate/Wealth banking client, relationship, product and/or segment marketing experience OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Standing Frequently (25% - 50% of the time) Walking Frequently (25% - 50% of the time) Bending Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time) Lifting Up to 50 lbs. Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
