The mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to cultivate a community where all people are respectfully supported and empowered to embrace opportunities for learning, growth and economic security. CAP is seeking Classroom Aides for their Early Childhood Program. The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs . The Classroom Aide must meet the following minimum qualifications: Child Development Associates credential (CDA) is preferred; or a high school diploma or GED and enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associates credential to be completed within two years; or be enrolled in a program leading to an Associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood development. Experience working with pre-school aged children. Reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license is required. This is a full-time, 10-month position. The pay rate is $14.68/hr, 37.5 hrs/wk, 44 wks/yr.
