Kam-Way Canada Transportation is seeking to hire committed, detail-oriented Class 1 Truck Drivers to join our amazing Canadian Fleet! This is a FULL-TIME, on-the-road position. this position is for Long-haul driver. We are only looking to fill roles for those located in the BC area. All candidates must be authorized to work in Canada. Responsibilities: Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times Compensation Solo Base Pay $.58 Per Mile Clean DOT Inspection $ 50.00 cannot be stopped for cause. Detention $20.00/Hr (begins after 2 hours caps at $125.00) Layover / Breakdown / Over the road Reset $ 150.00 per day after 24 hours Stop in Transit $20.00 every delivery after the first Production Pay tier ($100 - $400 based on mileage) Mileage pay the same whether loaded or empty Teams Base Pay $.62 Per Mile Clean DOT Inspection $ 50.00 cannot be stopped for cause. EACH Detention $200.00/Hr (begins after 2 hours caps at $125) EACH! Layover / Breakdown / Over the road Reset $ 150.00 per day after 24 hours EACH Stop in Transit $20.00 every delivery after the first EACH! Production Pay tier ($100 - $400 based on mileage) EACH! Mileage pay the same whether loaded or empty Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Available – 75% covered by the company Paid Orientation Travel to Orientation and Lodging Paid Bi-Weekly Pay Direct Deposit New Automatic Freightliner Cascadia Requirements Minimum 2 years highway, mountain & winter experience Clean Driving abstract and ability to pass all of Transport Canada driver qualification standards.
