Job Description: As a Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure that connects and enhances our communities. Responsibilities: Design site grading and drainage plans including sediment and erosion control plans. Develop Maintenance and Protection of Traffic control plans using MUTCD and state guidelines. Perform highway design, including development of alignments and roadway profiles. Conducting bridge load ratings using AASHTOWare and similar software. Evaluating bridges for rehabilitation and repair plans. Designing a variety of roadway bridges, including grade separations, stream crossings, and bridge rehabilitations. Developing designs for transportation-related structures such as culverts and retaining walls. Performing on site inspections Assisting with the creation of structural plans. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. EIT is expected At least 3 years of relevant experience. Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required by project demands. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in computer analysis and industry-standard software (e.g., RAM, Etabs, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation) and experience in the Computational Design field. Strong knowledge of building fundamentals and codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC, NYC BC, NYSDEC BB, etc.). Knowledge in SWPPP preparation and inspection procedures using state and local guidelines.
