This leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Digital and Information Officer CDIO, offers a chance to contribute significantly to the safe and secure delivery of UK Foreign Policy and Development aims. This leadership role, reporting directly to the Chief Digital and Information Officer CDIO, offers a chance to contribute significantly to the safe and secure delivery of UK Foreign Policy and Development aims. Role Overview: Position: Chief Information Security Officer CISOReporting to: Chief Digital and Information Officer CDIOContract: Full-time Pay Rate: £1200 per day Security Clearance: Candidates must have active DV Clearance & Sole UK Nationality. Key Responsibilities: Lead FCDO’s operational cyber security efforts. Provide support, advice, and assurance on information and cyber risk. Ensure the protection of FCDO’s data, infrastructure, and assets globally. Essential Criteria: Senior-level experience in risk management, information security, and IT roles. Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams. Experience in setting standards and developing procedures in complex organizations. Knowledge of HMG security frameworks and information security management frameworks. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
