Charter Driver Location: Edmonton, ABPrefer an office with a view? Want a flexible schedule to run day-to-day errands and attend appointments? Do you like having weekends off to spend time with family and friends? Join the team as one of Diversified Transportation's professional drivers! We are currently seeking qualified drivers to join our team of professional coach operators. We have multiple openings for Charter Drivers based in Edmonton. Charter Drivers can expect to work approximately 10 - 20 hours per week. Core Competencies: Flexibility Team player Excellent oral communication Customer-focused Reliable Organized Safety-focused mindset Job Duties & Responsibilities: Complete charters as assigned by managing workload; ensure all details related to the assigned charter are understood and attained Drive safely and responsibly; be prepared for all road conditions Provide exceptional customer service to clients and passengers Ensure compliance with Provincial Hours of Service Extensive pre-and-post trip checks Complete all applicable paperwork, including log books Manage passenger behavior by quickly solving problems Communicate with dispatch at your scheduled time, being prepared and ready to go Fuel bus as required Maintain a clean bus Complete and submit DVCRs Drop off or pick up units when requested by Operations or Maintenance Qualifications & Skills Required: Ability to Lift approximately 50 lbs Trip planning and journey management abilities Knowledge of attractions and venues within Alberta Ability to communicate effectively with clients and passengers Ability to obtain clearance for the following tasks are required: Driving record check (abstract) Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) Drug & Alcohol Test (DNA) Criminal record check Years of Experience: Minimum of 2-years motorcoach experience Education Requirements: Valid Class 1 or 2Q driver's license.
