Charter Administrator Location: Calgary, ABSOUTHLAND is currently seeking a Charter Administrator to join our team in Calgary. This position is responsible for responding to the needs of charter customers and providing outstanding customer service. The Scheduler ensures the equitable distribution of charter assignments and equipment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: All emails are to be responded to within a 24-hour period Answer phones, return messages, and respond to inquiries Client count sheets Radio dispatch Driver check-in - regular and industrial Posting delays in database and communicating with client in a timely manner Signature/payment follow up - all trips coming up within that week Signatures received All prepays paid up prior to bus being dispatched Support-way bills, emails, booking and scheduling as required Assist charter drivers with questions regarding pick-up/drop-off locations Provide and assist co-workers by supporting them by following our Core Values Other duties assigned to large events Attend regular charter meetings Be available for on-call rotation Knowledge and Skills Required: Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and Regulations Map reading ability with knowledge of the city, specifically road systems and attractions in and around Calgary Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional conduct within a high-volume environment Knowledge and understanding of company policies/procedures and bus basics/operating procedures Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal partners Proficient with Microsoft Office Time Management Skills.
