Service Technician Bill Marsh Ford in Gaylord is hiring an all-makes , all-models , Car Truck SUV Technician. NO WEEKENDS Bill Marsh Ford Gaylord is part of the Bill Marsh Auto Group with over 300 employees. Currently, we are looking to fill an experienced full-time Automotive Technician position. Our flex-technicians fix vehicles AND they bring even more value for our customers. Compensation This position is paid at an hourly pay rate, not a flat rate. Our used car techs earn anywhere from $24k to $60k per year and up. No weekends, paid holidays and PTO so you can enjoy your family time! Career (and subsequently compensation) advancement depends on the individual, skill level and advancement desire. Skills Bring some of your knowledge to us! A candidate for this position might already posses some state or ASE certifications . Whether you have state certifications or maybe already have skills that include brakes, suspension, light duty engine or electrical, we'd like to make your acquaintance. All technicians are required to have some of their own basic hand and air tools. Talk about being a "Car Guy" At Bill Marsh Ford Gaylord , we service a wide range of domestic vehicles which makes the job more interesting, fun and challenging. Technicians regularly utilize onboard diagnostic and shop-supplied specialty tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, HVAC and drivability concerns. This takes the shop and the service we provide to the next level for our customers. Job Requirements include: Enjoy working as a team. Willingness to learn new technology, new repair and service procedures or specifications.Be able to perform tire swaps, new tires, brakes, suspension, light exhaust and alignment work.Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent , Possess a Valid Driver's license.
