Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / STNA - PRN - Job in Georgetown, Ohio. Veterans Encouraged to Apply Sandusky Veteran Home Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Overview: The facility serves honorably discharged veterans, veterans spouses/widows, and Gold-Star parents. Long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, memory care, and end-of-life/hospice care Approach duties with a positive attitude and constructively support open communication, dedication and compassion. Assist with lifts and transfers Take vital signs Perform CPR and standard first aid Assist with meal feeding Makes beds, cleans resident's rooms & maintains cleanliness and comfort of residents Cleans work areas & equipment, walls &/or floors. Escorts residents on & off grounds to scheduled appointments & activities. Participates with resident in recreational activities. Communicates with residents to establish & maintain friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Attends meetings & in-service training sessions pertaining to client/resident car Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Qualifications Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary.
