Canyon Vista Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwives to join an established and well-respected group of Board-Certified physicians and Certified Midwives in a hospital-affiliated practice in Sierra Vista, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity to join a group that is expanding due to patient needs and has a collaborative environment where quality and patient safety is at the forefront. The midwives will provide full-scope care in a clinic and hospital with on-site physician back-up. The position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other duties as permitted by Arizona licensure and defined within the hospital medical staff bylaws. Experience is preferred, but not required – will consider new graduates. 1st assist for c-sections is preferred and training is available, if needed. Canyon Vista Medical Center (CVMC) operates a Level I Nursery and has Neonatal Nurse Practitioner on-site coverage 24/7/365. There are 7 Labor & Delivery Rooms, 14 Post- Partum Rooms, and 8 observation beds. Approximately 800 babies are delivered each year. CVMC is also a Pink Ribbon Facility for Breast Health Excellence featuring a 3D Mammography system.
