Are you looking to join a big-hearted organization as a Part-Time Certified Caregiver ? ***New rates for years of experience*** Come join our vibrant team at The Colonnade in Surprise, AZ .The Certified Caregiver provides supervisory care services, personal care services or directed care services in a safe, friendly, and efficient manner to assisted living residents. **$500.00 sign-on bonus (Part-Time)** Shift Differential of $2.25 increase in hourly wage from M-F 6pm to 6am & Friday 6pm - Monday 6am** Schedule: Thursday-Saturday: 6pm-10pm Sun Health was recently: certified as a Great Place to Work by our employees in 2021, 2022, and 2023. awarded a top 10 spot on the national Fortune Best Workplaces for Aging Services™ 2020 and 2021 list, and awarded a Platinum award in 2019, 2020 & 2021 through the Healthy Arizona Worksites Program. Some of the main responsibilities: Greet all residents and visitors to the facility in a friendly, cheerful and professional manner. Maintain a clean personal appearance and wear the approved uniform as required. Provide safe non-medical care for residents within the Community. Is available to work on a rotating-standby basis for emergency calls. Assist other departments as needed. Treat company assets and budgets responsibly. Work agreed upon schedule with minimal absences in accordance with the attendance policy. Perform routine tasks without close supervision. Put team success ahead of individual interests; contribute to teamwork by demonstrating a "will-do" attitude by working cooperatively with others, including other departments. See what needs to be done and accomplishes it, go beyond the basis requirements, and take an ownership attitude towards the facility. Be friendly and helpful with residents and keep a positive spirit and well-groomed personal appearance in representing the facility. Know the facility emergency procedures and perform in emergency drills. Assist with walking and light exercise. Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up. Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals. Make beds and change linens, as needed. Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming. Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. Laundry, ironing, take out garbage. Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning). Engage in physical and mental exercises. Provide medication reminders. Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.). Maintain calendar and organize mail. Engage in activities (games, memory books). Provide companionship to the Residents. Record daily care notes. Report any significant client changes to their immediate supervisor.
