Job Responsibilities Drive and operate various standard & automatic transmission trucks.Perform daily pre- trip inspections on truck and trailerAssist w/ loading & unloading of cargoStrap / secure loadsFollow delivery instructions. Travel throughout southern eastern states.Communicate needs for vehicle maintenance to administrationAccurately complete trip paperworkCommunicate with dispatch dailyVerify load paperwork for accuracyMaintain accurate Drivers Daily LogComply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. Skills & Qualifications Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledgeListening and verbal communication skillsMust be dependableUnderstanding of Code of Federal Regulations not required, but is a plus.
