Position Summary : We are seeking a Cash Application Specialist to join out team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage all aspects of cash posting in our Oracle ERP system. The candidate will serve as a liaison with the accounting team on any cash receipts issues, and ensure daily balancing. They will also be responsible for cash application and reconciliation, as well as balancing credit card accounts. Additionally, the candidate will assist in preparing end of month credit reporting. Any other duties assigned by the Credit Supervisor will also be the responsibility of the Cash Application Specialist. This role reports directly to the Credit Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: One-Three (1-3) years of cash application and accounts receivables in a commercial environment of business-to-business operations. Associates degree, or any other related degree from an accredited college preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Demonstrated history of cash posting. Knowledge of accounts receivables management. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), as well as knowledge of Oracle Software, or similar software such as SAP, 10-Key and keyboard. Must be able to stand, sit, move and use fingers for extended periods of time. May require walking primarily on a level surface, reaching above shoulder heights and below the waist as well as lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is typical of an office environment where the air is controlled and kept at mild temperatures.
