Visiting Nurse Association, a trusted name in healthcare for over 100 years, is looking for a Hospice Nurse to make hospice visits to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse that wants to provide quality one on one care. We help patients transition to hospice at "home" and provide high quality care.Our team works together to support our patients and their families/caregivers to provide the best experience possible. We provide education to the patients and their families/caregivers on their condition and the steps needed to ensure proper end of life care.Qualifications: 2 year of hospice experience is preferred. Candidates with similar nursing backgrounds & a desire to commit to learning hospice through a mentoring program will be considered. Current MO license required. Excellent writing and computer charting skills. VNA's offers a regular work week of M-F, some on-call required.
