Responsibilities and Duties: Sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums hallways, stairs, office space, etc. Spot cleaning stains Follow scheduled maintenance on carpets to keep them up to standard Notifies crew leader/supervisor of supplies and equipment that are needed Clean carpets using truck mounted or portable extractors May perform other duties as needed Requirements and Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Janitorial experience or experience in cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities/buildings in a manner that meets job expectations Valid driver's license Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to persuade and motivate other and invoke a positive work atmosphere Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Repetitious bending at the waist and kneeling Ability to work from a 6-foot ladder EO/AA Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Drug-Free Workplace Reasonable Accommodations If you need reasonable accommodation when you apply for a position on our website, please contact us at (804) 358-XXXX and ask for human resources.
