OUR OPPORTUNITY: Valor Contracting is currently looking for a skilled, experienced Carpenter Crew Member to join our group. As a Carpenter Crew Member for our company, you would be responsible for: Rough Carpentry - frame walls and ceilings, set trusses, install sheathing Finish Carpentry - install millwork, casework, doors, frames, hardware, and specialty materials Unloading deliveries using a forklift Reading blueprints to determine scope of work Additional duties as assigned To excel in this role, an individual will need to: Have previous experience on construction job-sites Have forklift operation experience (preferred, not required) Be familiar with hand-held tools and equipment Have reliable transportation to and from the job-site Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions Be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds Be able to lift, maneuver and climb varied size ladders, including 30 ft expandable ladders, and follow all ladder and roof safety compliance measures Be physically agile and able to work in tight spaces, extreme heights, and/or extreme temperatures (attics, crawl spaces and rooftops) Be responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable OUR BENEFITS: In addition to great co-workers, we offer full-time team members: Competitive wages based on experience 401K retirement plan with company match Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans, with employer premium contributions Health Savings Account (HSA) Paid Time Off (PTO) To learn more about our organization, visit our company website: www.buildwithvalor.com Valor Contracting is an EEO/Affirmative Action/Veteran friendly employer.
