Overnight Camp Lead Camp Northern Star seeks full time overnight camp staff lead. Are you looking for a summer job working with youth? Camp Northern Star is seeking enthusiastic individuals to lead our summer camp programs. You will have the opportunity to lead activities such as climbing, archery, team building games, and more! This program works specifically with youth entering 6th-12th grade for 9 weeks in June-August. Positions are available for week-long staff, or weekend-only staff. The job may be tailored as an internship if needed; it is your responsibility to determine if academic credit is available within your academic department and degree program. Starting weekly wage is $300-400 (full week staff) based on position. Benefits include paid training, personal leadership development, use of program equipment, free parking, great co-workers, opportunities for educational scholarships and the satisfaction of making a difference in the lives of youth. Housing and meals provided for working days. Camp Locations: Many Point Scout Camp (Ponsford, MN), Tomahawk Scout Camp (Birchwood, WI), Kiwanis Scout Camp (Marine on St Croix, MN), and Phillippo Scout Camp (Cannon Falls, MN). Qualifications Must be age 18 or older Strong communication skills are required Experience working directly with youth in outdoor recreation sites, summer sites, summer youth camp, or other youth programs preferred Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply Previous experience in Scouting is NOT required For more information about our Programs, see camp.northernstar.org Please apply online here .
