The YMCA Camp Cormorant offers more than just a typical camp experience - we offer the chance to make a lasting difference for the youth in our community! As a CIT at Camp Cormorant, you will help Camp Counselors guide campers in their personal growth and daily living skills. No day at camp is just a typical day ! Beautiful Camp Cormorant is located on Big Cormorant Lake by Lake Park, Minnesota. CIT Daily Duties: Dining hall: Clean up after meals and other cleaning duties as assigned: bathrooms, dishes, loading/unloading/stocking groceries. Clean up cabins and check campers' schedules for day. Sessions: Help in the specialty camp assigned to, help with low ropes course, help with day campers Lunch participate in songs. Rest Hour: never be alone with campers. Open rec: rotate areas -basketball, gaga, waterfront, and rec hall. Sessions: Help in the specialty camp assigned to, help with low ropes course, and help with the day campers. Evening Program participation with games and activities. Campfire song participation. Help campers get ready for bed: brush hair, clean up luggage, collect campers' belongings. 10:30 Lights out! Stay in cabin with counselor to assist settling children. 2023 Camp Schedule: June 1-6 (Training) June 7-9 (Mini Camp - All Staff) Week 1: June 11-16 Week 2: June 18-23 June 25-30 (Kamp Kace - No Cabin Counselors) June 28-July 6 (Everyone off) Week 3: July 9-14 Week 4: July 16-21 Week 5: July 23-28 Week 6: July 30-August 3 August 4-6 (Family Camp - Select staff only) Week 7: August 6-11 CIT Requirements: Must be at least 15 years old Job Posted by ApplicantPro
