Easterwood Airport is seeking self-directed, highly motivated individuals to serve as part-time Customer Service Representatives for varying shifts at the Easterwood Airport Terminal Cafe. Applicants must be available for weekday and weekend shifts on a regular and recurring basis. Special events and TAMU football weekends are required. Days and hours of shifts may occur from week to week between 3:30 AM and 9:30 PM. The ideal candidates: Will have a proven background in working with the public. Seek to serve the airport's customers with the highest quality of customer service. Are open to new ideas and methods in the delivery of quality services. Exhibit ability to show initiative and accept responsibility within guidelines provided. Specific responsibilities associated with this position include (depending on career level): Greeting and facilitating customer requests in a friendly and timely manner in the Easterwood Airport Café. Cash and credit handling within ethical and company standards. Responds to needs for safety, environmental, and general housekeeping within expected guidelines and timelines. Maintaining and stocking information, materials, and amenities within the general terminal. May be required to work overtime or flexible scheduling as required to include nights and weekends. Responsible for mentoring other customer service staff and may supervise other staff as assigned. Qualifications for this position include: High School degree and at least 18 years of age, college degree preferred. Unexpired Food Handler's Certificate preferred. Candidate will need to obtain a current Food Handler's Certificate if offered the position. Positions available for all experience levels. Must have good command of the English language, oral and written. Excellent telephone and customer service skills. Proficient in computer use and office software.
