CAD Technician, CAD Drafter, draughtsman technician, Building, M&E, Piping, Mechanical, technician CAD Technician Piping, Electrical & Mechanical Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester Salary: £32k - £35k + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday The Client: Our client is a leading construction company providing installation and maintenance services for residential, commercial, and municipal water features. The Role: As a CAD Technician, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the design and development of diverse water feature projects. Responsibilities: Generate P&I, mechanical, electrical, and pipework layouts for water feature diagrams and structures. Produce plantroom layouts, detailed sections, and schematic drawings for construction elements. Develop accurate fabrication plans, machining drawings, and parts lists for custom metal components. Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment with client specifications. Attend diverse meetings, including client engagements, across project phases. Perform site surveys and oversee drawing registers, enhancing in-house design methodologies. Requirements: Previously worked as a CAD Technician, or in a similar role. Must have experience in water, swimming pool, or building services industry. Skilled in Auto CAD with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Proficient in creating plantrooms, P&I, mechanical, electrical, and pipework layouts Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
