As individuals we are great, and together we are even better so come help us make a difference as we are currently seeking a full-time CAD Operator to join our Environmental team in Charleston, South Carolina. Learn more about us in this video: https://bit.ly/3juttFa and visit our website: https://www.smeinc.com/ Job Snapshot: Support professional staff on various type projects with graphic (figures and drawings) representation of field data and design aspects in AutoCAD 2022. The candidate would also have situations for the use of Arc GIS, MicroStation, and support field work with our staff. The position requires good basic math skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the motivation to work in a team atmosphere for the development of complete and accurate CAD drawings. Essential functions and responsibilities include: Read and interpret maps, construction plans and surveys Compute, process, and map field data in an organized manner Communicate and coordinate effectively with other staff members to facilitate the timely and accurate completion of assigned projects Perform QA/QC checks on work performed Required Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum 1-5 years of AutoCAD experience Ability to work extended hours to meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: GIS experience Proficiency with GPS equipment MicroStation knowledge Why work at S&ME?
