In a typical day, your expertise: Leads full monthly inventory counts, resolves significant inventory discrepancies and processes inventory adjustments. Reports inventory values to Accounting Maintains WMS, supplier and item number attributes in ERP to ensure accuracy in ERP Converts Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Orders and maintains computerized purchase order records or goods and services in accordance with established procedures Follows-up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries using MRP and Open Purchase Order report Anticipates and communicates any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact to the MPS (Master Production Schedule) Reviews and catelogues requirements such as insurance, bonds and supplier financials Identifies gaps in existing QMS procedures; acts as project coordinator to close these gaps or mitigate potential impact Explores alternate sources for goods and services, including assessing quotes from potential suppliers Maintains ongoing communication with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate procurement of goods & services Assists in resolving issues relating to non-conforming materials in the downstream Resolves invoicing and receiving issues among Suply Chain department, Suppliers, and Accounting Communicates effectively and professionally to promote positive supplier relationships Trains, leads, and mentors NTi team members on procurement principles, practices, processes and techniques Assesses and evaluates suppliers and undertakes formal supplier-performance reviews to ensure performance improvement activities through established procedures (i.e., Supplier Score Card) Proposes improvements to increase profitability, competitiveness, reliability, quality, safety, etc. Adheres to and promotes applicable Policies, Procedures, Safety Rules & Regulations and Security Guidelines Other duties and responsibilities as required for the successful operation of business (This position will have access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls. U.S. person as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) We're thrilled to find candidates with: High school diploma or equivalent 2 or more years in Purchasing, Sourcing or other Supply Chain experience with professional ERP system(s) Experience with inventory management, including cycle counting and reconciliation Fluent mastery of the English language Intermediate computer skills, including experience in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles Other competencies critical to success include: Proactive, self-driven and eager to learn Highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapid change Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to manage multiple actions simultaneously Good communication and cooperation skills, collaborative spirit Structure and accuracy in daily work Able to work independently in a structural manner, take initiative and complete processes This position will require access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls. U.S. person or ITAR licence required The ability to read and apply QMS standard process and procedures Willingness to adhere to and promote the NTi values of glød, collaboration, creative curiosity, trust, respect, and integrity Physical Requirements: The ability to sit in front of a computer for 8 or more hours daily The ability to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and controls, to operate a computer and telephone keypad The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate The ability to lift, bend, stoop, and walk up/down stairs and ladders While the physical demands described above are generally representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions.
