The ideal candidate must be extremely organized, professional, and self-sufficient. Experience in business law and civil litigation is necessary, and expertise in employment law and/or estate planning is desirable. The attorney will be responsible for assigned cases and clients, including drafting pleadings, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, attending court hearings, and ensuring the preparation/completion of cases. Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Google platforms, billing time, and experience with cloud-based applications is essential. Duties:Responsible for assigned cases and clients.Draft pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents.Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Attend court hearings and represent clients.Ensure preparation and completion of cases.Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, Google platforms, and billing time efficiently.Use cloud-based applications for legal tasks.Maintain extreme organization in work. Requirements:Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in California.1+ years of experience in business law and civil litigation.Experience in employment law and/or estate planning is desirable. Skills:Excellent client communication skills.Strong research and writing skills.Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Google platforms.Billing time management.Experience with cloud-based applications.Strong organizational, proofreading, editing, and communication skills.
