The role of the Business Development Executive, working closely with the Board, is to develop, resource and execute a long-term strategy to enable the company to meet its charitable purpose and ensure long-term financial sustainability. The Business Development Executive is therefore responsible for running a well-maintained and financially secure organisation achieved by: Business Strategy and Financial Management: Develop and implement a 3-year business plan, reviewed bi-annually, to ensure financial sustainability. Present progress against forecasts at Board meetings. Leadership: Provide strategic vision and leadership, demonstrating emotional intelligence and effective communication. Fundraising and Ambassadorship: Act as the primary ambassador for the business, fostering relationships with stakeholders including the NHS, donors, local government, etc. Marketing: Develop and execute marketing and communications strategies to enhance the companies profile in mental health and the local community. Vision: Articulate and reinforce the businesses mission, vision, and values to staff, volunteers, and the community.
