Job Title: Business Development Capture Specialist Job Summary: This position is in support of the FedWriters Business Development (BD) department. The Capture Specialist will support our government pursuits, providing pipeline development, supporting capture on new business opportunities, and supporting the entire sales lifecycle. The Capture Lead will develop a thorough understanding of FedWriters' offerings, current and recent corporate experience, and target market segments to identify and capture new business. The Capture Lead will lead or support bids, including developing an in-depth understanding of the potential client's requirements and preferences. The Capture Specialist will work closely in support of the Business Development department as well as interact with all levels of the organization to directly contribute to the growth of the organization. The Capture Specialist will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), proposal teams, and identified partners to communicate opportunity intel, develop and mature win themes, and support the overall proposal response strategy. Candidate should take pride in their work and be able to manage/prioritize multiple moving parts within the BD team and across multiple pursuits simultaneously. Responsibilities Include: Monitoring opportunity boards such as GSA eBuy (MAS, OASIS, HCATS, eFAST, SEAPORTNXG, STARSIII and others) for new opportunities, market research, updates, amendments, or announcements Tracking RFI/RFP solicitations and agency forecasts, and maintaining an awareness of the competitive landscape Assisting in developing and maintaining SharePoint based repositories Leveraging available tools and publicly available information to qualify opportunities by conducting market analysis, competitive analysis, and win rate analysis for identified opportunities Attending industry events and meet with clients to understand current and emerging customer needs and requirements Disseminating data calls and organizing necessary proposal inputs Developing call plans to promote FedWriters capabilities and identifying opportunities to generate on-contract growth Serving as an opportunity lead for multiple pipeline pursuits by bringing insights, leading practices, and creative thinking to support overall business development efforts Attending or supporting industry events including conferences, industry days, networking events Required Qualifications and Skills: Familiarity with federal acquisition vehicles such as SAM.gov, GSA MAS, Best-In-Class vehicles such as OASIS, HCATS and STARSIII Experience working in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment with a collaborative and productive work style Excellent critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills High level of attention to detail The ability to work with executives and senior leadership High School Diploma 3+ years of experience in Federal Government contracting Desired: BS or BA Degree 5+ years of relevant experience Experience with Monday.com Federal Agency experience Experience with GovWin, GovTribe, FPDS, USASpending Work Setting and Environment: Monday - Friday, normal working hours Work is to be performed remotely Potential travel to events and conferences How FedWriters Will Compensate and Appreciate You: FedWriters offers team members the opportunity to gain a lasting impression in this fast-growing small business.
