We are looking for a full-time Business Development Associate to join our growing consumer division, MaxximaStyle. This role is 100% onsite at our headquarters in Hauppauge, NY. Benefits We Offer: Paid time-off plus a paid volunteer day with a partnered non-profit organization 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing eligibility Generous benefits package that includes highly subsidized medical coverage Healthcare concierge services Company paid life insurance Dental and vision coverage Employee assistance program (EAP) Team member discounts on Maxxima products Discounts to concerts, movies, and theater Company sponsored events Responsibilities: Generate and prospect new leads from contractors, developers, realtors and other industry professionals Outbound calls to leads and existing customers eligible for our MaxxBuyer program Build rapport with customers, and identify cross-sell opportunities Educate customers about our products and answer technical questions Prepare customer mailings and materials for trade shows Place orders and provide support with customer service issues as needed Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce CRM Develop prioritized and actionable lead lists Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or ecommerce customer support Field experience or proven success selling lighting, electrical supplies or similar products Basic understanding of sales principles Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong time management skills to consistently maximize productivity Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment Effective at working both independently and collaboratively with a team Salesforce experience a plus Magento experience a plus The base salary range for this position is $50k - $80k annually.
