For more information about Crum & Forster, please visit our website: Job Description Business Analyst Travel Insured International (TII), a Crum & Forster company, is hiring a Business Analyst in our Project Management Office (PMO) Team in Glastonbury, CT. Reporting to the Director of Project Management Office, the Business Analyst role is primarily responsible for supporting the project manager(s) assigned with overseeing and coordinating projects, contributing to project planning, preparing, and maintaining documentation, monitoring project activities, and assisting in the evaluation of the overall portfolio. The Project Analyst will also be responsible for managing smaller projects and / or providing business analysis support. What you will do: Analyzes project portfolio data and produces insights to optimize performance and identify problems or shortfalls, providing proposed solutions. Supports the assigned Project Manager(s) prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and reports. Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.Assists in the development of internal meeting objectives and agendas.Participates in release planning activities - builds memos, assists in demos or training, facilitates communication. Manages smaller projects. Provides operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.Actively participates in requirements gathering and project meetings to identify features. Assists in the documentation of business requirements and user stories for the IT teams. What YOU bring to C&F:Experience in project management and data analysis. Strong communication and presentation skills.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.Passion for creating solutions that delight the customer. Sound research and reporting skills. Excellent written and verbal skills.Adherence to defined project standards, understands the necessity, and applies them consistently. Requirements: A College degree or equivalent work experience is required2 years of experience in a Business Analyst capacity or similar role is required Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with MS Project and Azure Dev Ops is a plus. Ability to quickly absorb and respond appropriately to emerging information.Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $68,000 to a maximum of $113,300. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
