Many People... One Strong Community... Join Our Growing Team! We are looking for a Bus Monitor to join our team! Bus Monitors, provide support and supervision for passengers on designated transportation routes per safeguards and/or Interaction Guidelines. Bus Monitors assure that all necessary equipment is with the individual(s) for transport per their safeguards and/or guidelines. Assures all safety procedures are followed pertaining to tie downs, vehicle and wheelchair seat belts, trays, brakes, etc. Responsibilities : Escorts individuals on and off the vehicle, as appropriate. Provides support as needed from residence/program to vehicle and from vehicle to residence/program. Works cooperatively with Bus Operators to ensure all wheelchair tie downs and seatbelts are secured prior to transport and unsecured just prior to unloading. Provides proper level of supervision while in-route per individual safeguards. Responsible for assisting with personal care needs of passengers while in route. Requirements: High School diploma or GED Certificate SCR clearance is required.
