Job Title: Building Surveyor : Contract Administration (Residential/Education) Salary Range: GBP45,000 : GBP60,000 Location: Eltham Hours: Full: time, 36 hours per week Employment Type: Permanent This company is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Surveyor with a strong background in contract administration, particularly within residential or education projects. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to efficiently lead a team while ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to all company policies in a timely and efficient manner. This encompasses various responsibilities, including: Maximising the utilisation of BG NET for optimal project management. Creating a comprehensive set of project commissioning documents, including the Brief, Fee Proposal, and Agreed Appointment document. Efficiently processing fees, ensuring accurate forecasting, and issuing fees within 7 days of their due date. Commissioning sub: consultants when necessary. Collaborating with the Programme Manager to generate monthly project reports from BG NET and presenting them to the client. Addressing any potential professional indemnity issues with the Programme Manager. Ensuring compliance with Project Liability Schedules and Gateway procedures, including regular reviews of existing documents to ensure necessary actions are taken. Be the ideal Project Team Leader (PTL) for all project stakeholders by: Profiling the ideal project team requirements and discussing them with the Programme Manager. Coordinating all project activities and tasks, delegating them to the appropriate team members. Driving the project team to successful delivery. Establishing and maintaining effective communication techniques and routes throughout the project. Providing ongoing on: the: job training tailored to each team member.
