About Our Opportunity Reporting directly to the Building Performance Lead, the Building Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for supporting building performance initiatives to support the Nova Scotia Environmental Goals and Climate Reduction Act. Working with project managers, engineers, trades personnel and building specialists, to improve asset management, facility operations, and maintenance, to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Primary Accountabilities Providing independent, specialized professional expertise for the administration, management and delivery of energy conservation and efficiency initiatives for the provincial building portfolio. Administering and supervising the mediation of concerns relating to energy conservation. Planning, developing, evaluating, promotes, and monitoring new initiatives. Analyzing and providing program recommendations through reports and advice to management. Coordination and analysis of building operating expenditures for budgeting/forecasting purposes.
