Summary Maintain appearance and function of company property and equipment. Full-time Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM - 5:00PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate powered equipment to mow and upkeep lawns Gather and remove litter Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots Spread salt in common areas during the winter Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure buildings, systems, and machines are operating efficiently Diagnose heating and cooling problems and determine how to correct them Repair and clean warehouse tracks for efficient flow of freight Monitor and replace light bulbs Relocate office furniture as needed Clean and maintain appearance of offices, common areas, and vehicles Perform warehouse and other duties as assigned Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required Mechanical inclination is preferred Previous cleaning, custodial or maintenance positions preferred Physical Requirements Some overhead lifting involved Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally Ability to work independently under minimal supervision Full range of motion with no limits on grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, walking, etc Work environment requires time spent outdoors in changing weather elements as well as in a vehicle EEO and Affirmative Action Statement Spee-Dee Delivery Service, Inc is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
