Building Maintenance Engineer

Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. The starting wage is $19. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. The ideal candidate for this position will be an outstanding communicator, a team player, and, above all, someone who enjoys engaging with new people. If you're ready to get started, apply today! Responsibilities: • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly• Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner• Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures Qualifications: • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required• 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory Compensation: $19 hourly About Company: Delta Hotels by Marriott creates a seamless travel experience in more than 90 locations across North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean.
