The Education Commons will provide, in collaboration with major research and development initiatives where appropriate, the iterative design, implementation and evaluation of technological environments and information space in which the academic and research programs of OISE are carried out. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Director, Education Commons, the Budget and Financial Analyst is responsible for overseeing the financial management of budgets which includes strategic planning, analysis and forecasting; forecasting and planning financial activities incorporating budgets with multiple sources of revenue and/or recoveries; implementing plans to make the finance process more efficient, reliable and more streamlined; producing complex statistical information and performing complex financial data modeling and analysis. This position will also consult and liaise with a wide range of clients and vendors and will bring discrepancies to their attention with recommendations for a course of action. The incumbent.
