Position Title/Role: BSA Supplier Development Manager Department/WG BSA Supplier Development Reports To: Sr. Manager of BSA Supplier Development FLSA Status: Exempt Prepared Date: 4/25/2023 Approved Date: 3/8/2023 Revision Date: 4/25/2023 Summary The BSA Supplier Development Manager will be responsible for developing new parts of Electric Vehicles Battery System Assembly. This role will assist the Senior Development Manager with new parts project management with supplier, supporting the supplier mold and equipment development, quality improvement and parts quality issue, and the overall management of supplier capacity. Essential Functions (To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.) Project Management Responsible for part development and implementations. Conducts detailed project plans, tactical execution, schedules in each part project. Provides Management overview and reporting on critical project tasks. Maintains strong relationship with suppliers, internal and external customers. Communicates regularly with upper management including HQ regarding the status of current projects, obtains upper management guidance and approval as required. Supplier Management Leads suppliers to meet the quality requirement during project and program Respond to supply shortages for supplier-related issues. Conducts Value engineering for any possible cost savings. Is responsible for supplier's ISIR review and approval, supplier quality audit. Other tasks as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.) Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Material Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electronical Engineering. Related field experience at least 5 years of experience in Supplier Development or Supply Quality Management or Automotive/Battery industry Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Good written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and technical skills Preferred Education & Experience: Ability to speak and write in both Korean and English Experience in automotive manufacturing environment Experience in battery manufacturing environment Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools ERP experience Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None Required Working Conditions : Office setting, some walking within and between buildings Overtime as needed Frequent travel with possible overnight or extended stays Working in all Supplier Development work groups if needed
