Location: Hutchinson, MN and surrounding areas Hours of Position: Flexible based on staff availability and client needs Variable Hours: Part-time/Full-timeDaysEveningsSleep Overnights Compensation: $18.00-$19.00/hour, based on experience$10.59/hour, base sleep pay rate between the hours of midnight and 6:00am Description: The BRIDGES Counselor works 1:1 with adults that have disabilities by providing a variety of services such as:Independent living servicesSelf-careCommunication skillsCommunity Living & MobilityReduction /elimination of maladaptive behaviorSensory/motor developmentSocializationLearning, improving and retaining independent living skills Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferredOR an Associate's Degree in a Social Services DisciplineOR two years (4,174 hours) of supervised experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors as well as co-occurring mental disorders or neurocognitive disorderA valid Driver's License, clean MVR & auto insurance (You will be using your personal vehicle to transport clients)The ability to pass a MN DHS background checkA working mobile device that can receive & send phone calls and capability of downloading application for documentationThe ability to make independent decisionsReliability and flexibility are necessary for success in this positionA positive mindset Benefits: Health Insurance (Full-Time, 1 Year Waiting Period for Part-Time)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceSupplemental Insurance (Short-Term Disability, Life, Accident, Critical Illness)Paid Time OffPerformance-Based Wage IncreasesEmployee Assistance ProgramMileage Reimbursement
