Branch Safety Supervisor

Description:
Safety * Develop and disseminate weekly safety messages and maintain Safety postings in Facilities. * Assist and participate in preparation/presentation of safety meetings. * Coordinate with EHS to make proper notifications if needed. * Assist Supervisors in accident investigation and response. * Enter all incidents in SEMS. * Pictures * Statements * Action Plans (in conjunction with Supervisors) * Follow up with insurance and Gallagher Bassett on all AL and WC claims. * Primary liaison with local Medical Clinics for DOT Physicals, Drug Screens, and WC Treatment. * Ensure Compliance with Quarterly Random DOT Drug Screens. * Assist in New Hire Orientation/Employee Set-Up: * Set up New Hire in SPARC * Schedule Drug Screen and appropriate physical if needed. * Complete and upload all necessary New Hire documents. * Maintain all DOT compliance files in SPARC. * Assist with Onboarding and Facility Tour/Introductions. * Ensure Orientation and Training Records are completed and uploaded in SEMS. * Assist with Route Observations / Maintain Tracking Log / Upload to SEMS. * Review DriveCam Events Daily * Assist in Coaching events. * Ensure events are not late in being coached. * Check for event recorders that have not connected or uploaded in 24 hours. * If unit is OOS, inform Shop and assist if needed to change status. * Check for unassigned drivers and assist if needed to correct.Compliance * Participate in all monthly facility inspections and follow-up on Action Items from prior inspections. Upload into SEMS * Manage compliance tasks including weekly inspections of site security, sediment basins, emergency spillways, NPDES outfalls, etc. * Coordinate maintenance/cleaning of storm water ponds. * Participate in Weekly Fleet/Yard walks. * Enter all Monthly Trainings in SEMS. * Main POC for any regulatory inspections from local inspectors. * Immediate Notifications to EHS Department/GM/RVP if necessary. * AST/UST Inspections * Maintain/Update all Safety and Compliance Emergency Plans * Employee Hazard Assessments * REDDONE Plan * MSDS Folder * Tier II Reporting * SWPPP * Hurricane Preparedness PlanWe thank you for your interest.
