Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking an Branch Manager with a servant's heart and passion for making a difference to join our team. The Branch Manager's role will be to direct the operations of our Greensboro location, ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans. This role will also have limited lending authority. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: -Underwrites consumer loans up to the amount assigned per credit union policy; reviews andapproves underwriting decisions of subordinate personnel. -Directs, develops, motivates, hires and disciplines branch personnel; administers performanceevaluations and recommends appropriate personnel actions. -Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriatesteps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. -Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attendsscheduled management meetings. -Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s),suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups. -Monitors all branch activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit unionpolicies and procedures. -Controls past due and charged off accounts for the branch. -Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing,or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specificskills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Interpersonal Skills: Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitivenature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contactsbecome important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/orindividuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideasor services to others. Other Skills: Physical Requirements: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an office and outside sales environment.
