What Will Be Your Environment: Strategically located in the heart of Southern California’s medical device industry, the 53,000 square-foot facility is equipped with test laboratories for device testing and benchmarking, prototyping and development, and clean rooms for volume production with around 120 employees. What You'll Do: As a Braiding Technician, you will provide braided catheter shaft to the extrusion area for processing. This job requires attention to detail, the use of small hand tools and legible writing skills. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. What We're Looking For: Change and load spools to be braided on the braiders. Place fully braided spools on WIP rack. Change and load wire bobbins onto braiders. Properly identify and fix wire breaks. Complete all inspections and paperwork. Count braid picks through a microscope. Follow W.O. instructions. Notify Process Engineer or Supervisor of any unusual events on shift. Ensure proper use of raw materials. Skills That Make a Difference: Successful completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent, and reflecting advancement potential. Ability to follow precise directions. Ability to receive and provide instructions positively. Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
