Responsibilities The Edibles Director will be responsible for commercialization of existing formulations, as well as research and development of new recipes and formulati ons across multiple form factors This role will be responsible for leading teams with hands on, in the kitchen work, with the ability to scale processes and delegate responsibilities over time R esponsible for leading the development, documentation and continual improvement of all SOPs for GOLDLEAF's edibles manufacturing sites creating consistent quality finished goods T his role will provide strategic direction on production priorities that align with retail forecasting and sell through rates Work closely with Supply Chain and Operations to assure consistent , quality supply chain and inventory levels Ensure manufacturing and packaging meets health and safety as well as GMP requirements Be the subject matter expert for edibles manufacturing including developme nt, production, packaging and compliance Manage teams to assure all products meet the superior quality expectations of all GOLDLEAF products P rovide oversite of all Quality Assurance (QA) and work cross functionally through QA process Lead efforts to improve efficiency in manufacturing and packaging processes Maintain well organized records within the Company's systems Assure all preventative maintenance schedules are created and followed Communicate directly with Executive team and across departments Maintain market leader status when it comes to trends and innovations in the industry Will build teams and o versee multiple departments After-hours work required Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Proven experience working in a GMP manufacturing setting in highly regulated markets Effective communication up and down reporting structures Exhibits a sense of urgency when necessary Extensive industry, research, and management experience Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and complex environment Experience overseeing compliance within a manufacturing setting Ability to balance short- and long-term goals and to identify problems and resolve quickly Demonstrated experience in a position requiring critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning and assessment Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to manage multiple projects at a time Highly organized with a keen sense of urgency to meet deadlines Able to multi-task, manage projects and work within deadlines Strong work ethic Able to form trust relationships with executive leadership and employees Computer skills: Google business suite and Microsoft office, including basic knowledge of digital messaging Must be able to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship Occasional travel m ay be required Job Types: Full-time On-site Pay: Benefits: Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance GOLDLEAF is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
