The YMCA of Northern Colorado has openings for energetic group boxing for fitness instructors at Longmont branch. We are looking for high intensity activities in a boxing format. If you are the type of person that builds community wherever you go and you have a knack for inspiring, motivating and encouraging others to keep moving - you will fit in well with our talented and diverse team of group exercise instructors. As a YMCA instructor you'll provide excellent service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures. Requirements/Certifications: National Certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) in group fitness instruction OR nationally accredited Boxing Instructor Certification At least one year of experience teaching group exercise classes preferred CPR, First Aid, AED certified We are rebuilding our schedules as we increase our offerings. What's your group ex passion? Salary range is $22-30/hour based on experience and availability. This position is part time, we have both seasonal and year round opportunities. We offer a +10% differential for bilingual staff (Spanish and English). All YMCA of Northern Colorado part-time staff working 10+ hours each week are eligible to receive a free family membership. Staff who work 10+ hours a week earn 50% to 100% off our programs. That includes free YMCA traditional day camp, youth sports, learn to skate and swim lessons, and half off YMCA Camp Santa Maria overnight camp, personal training, specialty summer camps, and childcare. If you work 20+ hours a week, your benefits grow from there. Sick time is earned from day 1, and we make contributions of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund for eligible staff.
