Job Overview: The Bowling Alley Assistant Lane Maintenance person is responsible for assisting in the maintaining of the automatic pinsetters and other mechanical equipment of the bowling center facility to ensure the highest level of efficiency possible. Role Accountabilities & Expectations: Provide friendly, courteous, polite and helpful customer service. Maintain and follow all safety procedures. Set up and take down activities for handicap ramps. Ensure the back end is neat, clean and orderly. Strip lanes, rotate pins, change pit covers, patch lanes and approaches as necessary. Maintain lane towels for lane machine(s). Document and/or record all pinsetter parts. Provide various maintenance and repair activities: Follow preventative maintenance procedures for all pinsetter machines; Bowling lanes and equipment; and Automatic scorers. Ensure a safe work environment for self and others, including but not limited to checking all safety sheets. Ensure a harassment-free environment through proper personal conduct. Use respectful language with Guests, Staff Members and Managers at all times. Understand, comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications: High school degree or GED preferred. Thorough knowledge of hand and small power tools. Knowledge of the operation of pinsetters. Safety consciousness, highly organized, strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions. Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English. Must pass and remain in compliance with drug free workplace policies . Physical Requirements (as required by OSHA and ADA): Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts. Must be able to carry loads and the ability to lift 75 pounds. The noise level is typical for bowling. Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Job Posted by ApplicantPro
