Looking for a candidate with good experience in Quick Books for New Jersey based company located in Woodbridge, NJ. Company is very reputed and in business from past 30+ years. This person will be joining a team in the accounting department of a food based company. This person will be handling Accounts Payable work as well as other accounting functions. Hourly $20.00 start. Candidate must be authorized to work in US-Green card holder or US citizen.RESPONSIBILITIES: BANK RECONCILIATION:Make sure each assigned account is accurately reconciled and they balance every month. Any discrepancy should be discussed with Office Manager. Make the manager aware of unusual activity/transactions noticed in the monthly reconciliation. No entries to be made on your own at the time of reconciliation. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE:All bills are entered in the accounting software as per the invoice, verifying if there are any credits available. All due dates should be entered in the system as per the credit terms set with the vendor. Checks are issued once a week after reviewing them very carefully and seeking advice of your supervisor. Checks to have the right address of the vendor and correct amount.LEASES/FRANCHISE AGREEMENT:Time to time keep a check on the lease terms or monthly rental terms. Consult your supervisor for any changes in Rent, CAM or lease terms if noticed or made aware. REPORTS TO: Company Manager
