SUMMARY: Responsible for organizing and coordinating various bookkeeping and administrative assistant job functions. Some duties and responsibilities will vary as not all departments are organized the same. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Verify figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases using specialized accounting software Receive, record, and bank cash checks and vouchers Comply with federal, state, and company policies procedures and regulations Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and table pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits/losses Assist Owner of company with daily tasks Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Microsoft office, ten key, and other office equipment Effective communication skills Ability to manage time wisely Event organizing and planning Advanced knowledge of accounting mathematical formulas Ability to keep business matters confidential WORK SCHEDULE AND ATTENDANCE: The work schedule will vary according to the workload and the time of year.
