Broadley's Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has been family owned and operated since 1911, and continues the tradition of providing excellent HVAC and Plumbing services to our communities in southern New Jersey. Job Title: Bookkeeper Department: Service and Install Reports to: Controller Work Hours: 7:30am to 4:30pm Pay Scale: $50,000 - $60,000 including benefits package. Position Summary: Accounting functions related to billing, accounts receivable and payroll. Required Qualification: Advanced customer service skills Ability to multi-task Organized Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required Computer skills High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum 2 years relevant Bookkeeping experience Qualification desired: Strong interpersonal skills Energetic Personality Well Organized Professional Phone Skills Excellent verbal skills Solid work ethic Daily Duties: Complete billing for the installation department Collect/maintain complete billing documentation Complete rebate paperwork for customers Follow up with customers for payment Maintain customer aging Meet with department personnel to resolve billing and collections issues Maintain accurate customer account records Payroll related duties including entering hours from timesheets, process salary/hourly payroll, deposit payroll taxes and maintain employee records Resolve payroll issues/inquiries Other duties as assigned
