We want you as a bookkeeper Start Date: ASAP Full-Time (40 Hours per Week) $25-$35 per hour (W-2) Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm EST Location: Join us in-office 2-3 days per week and work-from-home the other days! IDEAL CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS: One year of experience and can demonstrate basic bookkeeping knowledge in a skills assessment List lover (Every day, you will bang out a lists of stuff. Fun stuff. Important stuff. Necessary stuff.) You geek out over organization and can handle being on the computer the majority of the day QuickBooks is your jam You are a genuine SPARK, someone who loves to deliver remarkable experiences, and who feels good by making other people feel good We prefer accuracy over speed because the details matter. You don't race through work and don't do things done half-assed; you do them right We are looking for a good, fun person, who gets stuff done. (Oh, and we occasionally swear at the office... not much... but sometimes a joke is funnier with an F-bomb) SPARK BOOKKEEPER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Reconcile, close the month, and review financials for approximately 30 small businesses on your roster each month within your goal time Deliver world-class service by receiving 5-Star Reviews from each of your clients each quarter on your roster Take ownership of your work and utilize training feedback to develop your skills as measured by your Lead Accountant Communication is what makes us SPARKLE in everything. Respond to teammates within 60 minutes and to clients within 24 hours or less. COMPENSATION: $25-$35 per hour BENEFITS: 401k Medical and Dental (MA-based employees only) Work-from-home flexibility PTO ADDED BENEFIT: You will become an expert at Profit First!
