Tamatta Mining & Construction Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team and contribute to our financial success. If you are passionate about numbers, possess strong organizational skills, and have a knack for accuracy, we want to hear from you. Position: Casual Bookkeeper Location: Remote in Edmonton Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records. Utilize Quick Books to maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Work closely with the management team to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement. Assist with the annual budgeting process. Collaborate with external accountants during audits and tax filings. Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper with proficiency in Quick Books. Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
